Ruth Carrie (Drinnen) Swader

Ruth Drinnen Swader, age 90, of Tucker passed away peacefully Thursday January 25, 2018. She was a Christian, a retired teacher, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Susan (Alan) Tatum of Oak Ridge, TN and Ann (Richard) Hortman of Lilburn, GA; grandsons, Austin Tatum of Chicago, IL and Andy Tatum of Oak Ridge, TN; sister, Pearl Williams of Kingston, TN. The family will gather for graveside services at 11 am on Saturday January 27th at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 2pm on Saturday, January 27th at the Chapel of Briarlake Baptist Church, 3715 LaVista Rd, Decatur with Rev. Inman Houston, officiating. A reception will be held at the church immediately following the service.
