Ruth S. Harbour

Ruth Stafford Harbour, 103, of Decatur, passed away on April 15, 2016. Born March 1, 1913, in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Wylie B. and Mamie Lizzie Mathews Stafford.

Ruth is survived by her son, George A Harbour, III; two daughters in law, Carol C. Harbour and Carol B. Harbour ;two grandsons, Kenneth and Andrew Harbour; granddaughter, Paige Ware; six great-granddaughters, Sarah, Rachel, Mary Frances, and Callie Ware;
Isabel and Emrie Harbour; great-grandsons, Nicholas, Bennett and Drew Harbour; and many more loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, George Alfred Harbour, JR., and son, Robert Jester Harbour.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, with a service to be held at 2:30 pm, in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033. A private family interment will follow at Westview Cemetery at a later date.
