Samuel Vincent Baca

Samuel Vincent Baca, born May 5th, 2003 in Decatur, GA passed away suddenly on October 31st, 2023 at the age of 20.

Sam was a bright, creative, caring, and hardworking individual of remarkable kindness and strength. Sam's passions included fishing, cars, lacrosse, and a multitude of other interests that enriched not only his life, but also the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sam is survived by his mother, Anne Collins, his stepfather, Gary Muth, his brother, Elliot, his sister, Maggie, his step brother, Joseph, his step sister, Lily, his grandparents, Charlie and Carolyn Baca and Harold and Lynda Muth as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, C Eric Baca and his grandparents Vincent and Peggy Collins.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 20th at 10am at St Thomas More Catholic Church located at 636 West Ponce de Leon Avenue in Decatur, GA.

In honor of Sam's memory, his family kindly requests donations to the Metro Atlanta Recovery Residence (MARR) in lieu of flowers.

Sam will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will be cherished and his kind spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
