Sandra Lucile Knighton

Beloved sister and aunt, Sandra Knighton passed away Sunday April 23. She was born May 10, 1940 in Atlanta, GA. Sandra graduated from Bass High School in Atlanta. She quickly pursued a career. First as a legal secretary, then as an Executive Vice President at Georgia Savings & Loan League for 25 years.
She spent her retirement years active in First United Methodist Church of Tucker's Reading and Lunch Buddies programs for children.
Sandra is survived by her brother James Knighton and sister Nancy Knighton Stephenson (James), as well as over 20 nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ruth and Leonard Knighton, sisters Caroline Baggett and Dorothy Taylor, brothers Don Knighton and Ralph Knighton.
Services will be held Saturday, April 29 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of First United Methodist Church of Tucker, 5095 LaVista Rd, Tucker, Rev. Owen Skinner officiating.
