Sara Ponder Smith

Mrs. Sara Ponder Smith, a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008.  She was a resident of Clairmont Lakes prior to moving to Montclair Assisted Living Home.  She is survived by her nephew and niece Olin and Lovena Trammell.  Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Friday, May 2, 2008, with Dr. Peter Rhea Jones officiating.  Interment will be in Decatur Cemetery.  The remains will lie in state from 11 AM to 12 PM Thursday.  A.
