JOHNSON, Sarah Ann SARAH ANN BRIDGERS JOHNSON Loving mother and grandmother, Sarah Ann Bridgers Johnson died peacefully surrounded by her family, at her home on January 10, 2010 at 5:57 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Burch Johnson on Dec. 16 1962. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Ann Johnson; son, David M. and Lynn S. Johnson; and granddaughter, Sarah Ann and Charles J. Paulk; and various additional family members. Ann graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, with a B.S. degree in Mathematics. She continued her post graduate work at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ann retired from Georgia Department of Human Resources after 35 years of service. Services will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. at Clairmont Presbyterian Church, burial to follow at Melwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Clairmont Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12th at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.
