Sarah Frances Purcell Kelley

Sarah Frances Purcell Kelley, 85, passed away on December 27, 2011. Born on August 25, 1926 in Chamblee to William and Elda Purcell. Frances retired after 30 years each as a DeKalb County school bus driver and a gate attendant for the Stone Mountain Park. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, William Richard Kelley III; one grandson, Daniel Ruiz, and his partner Kristen Whalen; 4 great-grandchildren, Gage, Laela, Levi, and Eden; many nieces and nephews including Elaine Norris, Shirley Lanham, Kelley King, Susan Vidil, Margaret Wear, and John Purcell. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William Richard Kelley II, and brothers, William Purcell, Jr., and Robert Purcell, and sister, Eula Pruitt, and sister-in-law, Helen Wood. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 3:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday evening.
