Sarah Rudolph Miller ("Sally") passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2008, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia. Sally was born in Douglas, Georgia, March 30, 1925, the daughter of the late Milton Oscar Rudolph and Sarah Woodard Rudolph. She was also predeceased by one brother, Robert Milton Rudolph. Sally is survived by Alden F. Miller, her husband of nearly sixty years; one daughter, Beth Ludvigsen, and her husband Arnold, of Lilburn, Ga.; a son, Fritz Miller, and his wife Julia, of Winston-Salem, NC; a son, Greg Miller, and his wife Donna, of Marietta, Ga.; one brother, John Rudolph, and his wife Peggy, of Goldsboro, NC; one sister, Nancy Goff, and her husband Richard, of Surf City, NC. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Ginny, Charlie, and Genevieve Miller of Winston-Salem; Brian and Amy Ludvigsen of Atlanta, and Krista Miller of Marietta; a maternal aunt, Elaine Woodard Brown, of Tallahassee, Fla.; and several cousins with whom she was very close. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, September 26, at the LutheranChurch of the Redeemer with Rev. Debra Samuelson officiating, where Sally was a long-time member. Burial will follow at ArlingtonMemorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LutheranChurch of the Redeemer’s Library or to the church.
