Shannon Cloyd Rowe

Mr. Shannon C. Rowe, age 34, of Newnan, Georgia, formerly of Hurley, Virginia died Friday, April 19, 2013. Survivors include his mother, Wanda Justus Rowe of Hurley, Virginia, brothers; Jerry (and Dinah) Rowe of Richlands, Virginia, Terry Rowe of Lexington, Kentucky, and Greg Scotty Rowe of Raven, Virginia. Nephews; Joshua and Justin Rowe, and Great Nephew; Joshua Heath Rowe, several cousins and many close friends. He was predeceased by his father Cloyd Rowe, Brother Bradley Rowe, Paternal Grandparents Troy Earl and Alice (Blankenship) Rowe, and Maternal Grandparents Earl and Linnie (Blankenship) Justus. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home with a service held at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bishop Randy Morgan and Pastor Brian Grizzle officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a service at 7:00 p.m. at Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home in Grundy Virginia. The funeral service will be held there in the chapel on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Noon. Burial will follow at Dan Blankenship Cemetery, Hurley, Virginia.
