Sharon Jean Johnson Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, born on August 4, 1948, passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2024, surrounded by loving family and friends, her hands being held by her husband and youngest son. Sharon was the daughter of Clifford and Mildred Johnson from Pasadena, Texas. As a child, she attended elementary school in Pasadena and later attended several high schools as her father was a professional welder who traveled to various locations in order to work in the construction of buildings and towers. Sharon graduated from Forrest Park High School in the Atlanta area in 1966. In Atlanta, she was introduced in 1983 by a mutual friend to her husband Richard Anderson. They lived in Atlanta and were subsequently married at Peachtree Christian Church.
Sharon was the hardest of workers and simultaneously a homemaker, her family being her number one priority. She worked as a waitress, restaurant manager, salesperson, manager of a fabric store, motion picture technician, window and display designer, and partner in her husband's many real estate endeavors, buying, rehabbing, and reselling multiple properties. Sharon was a natural designer who made her home and her properties first rate. She loved music, artworks, sculpture, Native American culture and artworks, and especially seasonal decorating. She brought the fun of holidays and the joy of Christmas, decorating like a pro, into the home and workplace. Sharon was beautiful and smart, strong and dependable, with boundless energy, always looking out for, and caring for others even more than for herself. Always smiling, she filled the room with her presence like no other. She will be dearly missed by all.
Sharon is survived by her husband Richard Anderson, son Dale Fowler and wife Jennifer, son Donny Fowler and wife Sherri and son Christopher Anderson, seven grandchildren, Jacob, Rebecca, and Samuel Fowler, Laiah and Crosby Fowler, and Chase and Mallory Fowler, and one great granddaughter Ezra fowler, niece Lori Howard and husband Jeff, and sister Linda Sassard. She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Mildred Johnson and sister Sandra Lee.
