Shirley Ruth Pendley

Mrs. Shirley Ruth Pendley of Atlanta died Thursday, September 13, 2007.  She was a member of Haygood United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Mission and Eastern Star. Mrs. Pendley was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Vann Pendley and son, John Herndon. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kahrs; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Doreen Montague; nephews, Mark Peters, Jeffrey Peters; and step-sons, Howard Pendley and Paul Pendley.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 19th at Haygood United Methodist Church with Rev. Wally Rice officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
