Sibyl Sears

Mrs. Sibyl Sears, age 77, of Monroe died Monday, August 2, 2004.  She was a member of Ray Memorial Presbyterian Church in Monroe where she was active in her Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert McKinley Sears, Jr. and her sister, Clara Stephens. Mrs. Sears is survived by daughter, Susan R. Sears of Grayson, GA; son, Elbert M. Sears, III and his wife Sandy of Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughter, Alycia Sears of Lawrenceville, GA; brother-in-law, Rollie Stephens of Loganville, GA; and her devoted cat, Hoppy. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Gary Lowe officiating. Interment Norcross City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
