Stanley Lawson Nurnberger, IV, 29, of Marietta, Georgia, died Thursday, October 25, 2007 after a four-year battle with cancer. A native Atlantan, Stanley graduated from DeKalb County's Tucker High School in 1996, where he met his future wife. He then graduated from the University of Florida's School of Journalism in 2000, and was always a proud Florida Gator. For six years, he worked for CNN Radio as an anchor/editor. Stanley was frequently heard on the radio and on TV voicing many of the top stories; he was most proud of his radio box office report whichhe did every Sunday detailing the top movies of the week in the U.S. Through very difficult times during his illness, Stanley never gave up, instead reminding others that there's always something to live for. His last days were spent alongside his wife and newborn son, Stanley Lawson Nurnberger, V. Surviving are his son, Stanley, and wife, Tiffany, in Marietta; his mother, Kathy Nurnberger of Tucker; his father, Stanley Nurnberger, III and wife Ruthie ofPensacola, Fla.; sisters, Leslie Nurnberger of Tucker, Ga., Betsy Ryan of Orlando, Fla.; and brother Justin Pritchard of Bailey, Colo.A memorial service will be held by A.S Turner & Sons at 2773 North Decatur Rd. in Decatur at 4:00PM on Sunday, October 28th. The family will receive friends between 2:00PM to 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society. A. S. Turner & Sons
