Stella L. Crumbley

Stella Lindsey Crumbley, 85, of Decatur walked into her Heavenly Father's arms on Wednesday August 17, 2011. A long time resident of Decatur she worked for several CEO's of DeKalb County until she retired in the early 90's. A loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister, she will be missed dearly. She is predeceased by her husband, Gordon Crumbley Jr., and son Anthony Lindsey Crumbley, two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her son, Michael Arthur Crumbley and wife Cathy, of Snellville; daughter-in-law, Cherith Crumbley Maloof; granddaughters; Amy Crumbley McCleskey of Sugar Hill, Heather Crumbley Degrace of Lawrenceville and Lindsey Nicole Crumbley of Snellville. Great-grandsons, Tyler and Finn; Brother J.C. Lindsey of Hapeville and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Dr. Jeff Gongwer officiating. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to CURE, Childhood Cancer 1117 Perimeter Center West Suite N-402 Atlanta, GA 30338. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday August 19 at A.S. Turner and Sons.
