Steve Ausburn

Mr. Steve Ausburn, 54, of Snellville, died Sunday, February 3, 2008.  He was born December 4, 1953 to Howard Jackson Ausburn and Bessie Rice Ausburn.  Mr. Ausburn retired from the DeKalb County Water Department as a supervisor.  He was an avid NASCAR fan.  He is survived by his son, Christopher Vinton of Orlando, FL; daughter, Angel Ausburn of Atlanta; and former wife, Laurie Taylor of Snellville.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Healthcare Foundation of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, 1687 Tullie Circle, N.E., Atlanta, GA  30329; ATTN:  Gift Processing.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
