Steve John Farmakis

Mr. Steve John Farmakis, age 82, of Suwanee, GA, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Voula of 52 years; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tess and Wayne Murphree, & Anna and Randy Pelky; his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Ellen Farmakis; brother, George Farmakis of Ohio; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12th at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2500 Clairmont Rd., Atlanta, GA at 1 PM with Father George Alexson & Father Paul Keriotis officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2000 Marietta Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Rd., Union City, GA. 30291. The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 11, 2007 from 6 to 8 followed by a prayer service at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur.
