Steven H. Moll, born 11/23/1934, died 8/21/2007 at Odyssey House hospice in Decatur of complications from an infection/kidney failure. He was raised in Wayne, PA, Atlanta and Cochran, GA. He graduated from Emory University in mid-'50's, served in US Army in Europe, and then had a complete career as Science Editor for Grolier Encyclopedias (now part of Scholastic Corp.). One of his colleagues ". . . found him charming, sharp, funny, sensitive, sentimental, mischievous . . . a very unique person"; another added "kind and generous". His father was Dr. Lloyd A. Moll, President of Middle Georgia College in Cochran, then Georgia Southwestern College in Americus. His sister was Gretta Moll Dewald. He never married. He is survived by his brother-in-law Charles Dewald of Stone Mountain, niece Janie Dewald Bailey of McDonough, nephews: Mike Dewald of Watkinsville, Dr. Jon Dewald of Wilson, NC, Hank Dewald of Littleton, NC, and Joe Dewald of Montclair, VA. A. S. Turner & Sons is arranging cremation. He will be buried with his sister in Decatur Cemetery. There will be a future Memorial Service scheduled at North Decatur Presbyterian Church. A. S.
