Sue Roberts

Sue Roberts passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2005 and is survived by her husband, John Roberts of Decatur, GA; her parents, Lewis & Billie Sommermeyer of N. Richland Hills, TX; her sister, Pamela Sommermeyer of Atlanta; her brother, Bill Sommermeyer, his wife, Sherry Rodgers and their children, Brittany and Brandon of Plano, TX as well as many loving friends and extended family. John Roberts' family includes his mother, Sara Frances Roberts, his brother and family, James & Jackie Roberts and their children, Nolan, Quinn, Zachary and Benjamin. Sue brought great joy to everyone's life she touched. She was a native Texan who moved to Atlanta in 1996 and loved Atlanta immediately, eventually settling in Decatur. Sue began her career at PROMOVE in 2000 and was very grateful for their support and kindness during her illness. The family extends grateful thanks to the loving care of the Nursing Staff at NW Georgia Oncology Center at Kennestone. Services for Sue Roberts are to be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons in Decatur on Wednesday, August 31st at 7:00 p.m. Rev. James R. Styles will officiate. Donations to the Lymphoma Research Foundation are appreciated in lieu of flowers. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
