Sue Rogers Lee

Mrs. Sue Rogers Lee, age 84, of Decatur died Sunday, November 6, 2005. Mrs. Lee was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who was married for 61 years to Brigadier General Carlton L. Lee. While Brigadier General Lee was serving his country, Mrs. Lee was active in supporting the American Red Cross, the United States Air Force Aid Association and other charitable functions of the Officers' Wives Club. Brigadier General and Mrs. Lee enjoyed over 30 years of retirement. She is survived by her children, David Lee of Richland, WA, John Lee of Paola, KS, Lyndall Lee of Stone Mountain, Jane Lee of Norcross, Nancy Kronick of West Hartford, CT; one sister, Annis R. Essex of Atlanta; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10th at the Chapel of the Pines at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Dr. Frank H. Crumpler will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
