Terry Lee Cordes Ross

Born March 28, 1950, to Roy and Iris Bruce Decatur, Ga., Terry passed away peacefully with her husband, George L. Ross, at her side on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, of complications from a heart attack.
Terry graduated from Southwest DeKalb High School in 1968. She worked for 30 years with AT&T as a graphic artist. Then she opened her store, Blue Moon Design, on the square in the City of Decatur. Terry also had a booth at Decatur Estate Vintage market. Her true love, however, was helping anyone at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.
Terry is preceded in death by: her parents Roy W. and Iris Bruce; her son Erin A. Cordes; former parents-in-laws Roger and Betty Cordes; parents-in-law Spencer and Wanda G. Ross; and her sister-in-law Wanda K. Ross.
In addition to her husband, George, Terry is survived by her daughter, Tonya M. Ross, grandson Landon James Ross, and brothers-in-law Robert P. Ross and David L. Ross and their families.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 11th at 11am, at Decatur Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Terry’s name may be made to the general fund of The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 2089 Ponce de Leon Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307.
