Thelma Boyd Jones

Thelma B. Jones of Lilburn died Sunday, December 21, 2008.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Fred H. Jones, Sr.  Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of Northlake Church of Christ.  A loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children, Sheila and Kelly Dyer of Lawrenceville, Teresa and Gary Piper of Snellville, GA, Cindy and Bobby Hamilton of Flowery Branch, Marilyn and Jim Addison of Snellville, Lorelei Jones of Lilburn, Robin and Bryan Vaughn of Snellville, Freda and Chuck Poteet of Flowery Branch, Fred H. Jones, Jr. of Alpharetta, David and Debbie Jones of Lilburn; brothers Donald Boyd, Marvin Boyd; sister, Geraldine Ivey; twenty one grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23^rd at 12 Noon, today at A. S. Turner & Sons with Mr. Carson Reid officiating.  Interment Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends I hour prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
