Thelma G. Bennett Purvis

Thelma Geraldine Bennett Purvis, age 81, passed away May 4, 2022 in Atlanta, GA. She was born in Williamsburg County, SC December 9, 1940, daughter of the late Wilkin Marvin & Alice Burrows Bennett.  She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers William Flagler & Benjamin Bennett and two infant daughters Judine Ynette Purvis & Sabrina Anne Purvis.

She is survived by, from a marital union with the late John Daniel Purvis, seven children, Marvene J. Purvis, Danny C. Purvis, Elisa T. Blair (Walter), Donnie K. Purvis (Monique), Ronnie K. Purvis (Amy), Dottie A. Purvis (Brenda), Damon R. Purvis (Jessica), her beloved nieces, Sandra Smith, Lathonia Bennett, Terri Stephens and her dear cousin/brother Samuel McCall. Also, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Thelma was loved and will be missed by many in her community for her many talented skills, her love for people and most importantly her love for Jehovah God.

A memorial service will held via Zoom on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 10:30 am, EST.
