Theresa B. Foelsch, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011. She was born in New York City, and had lived in Washington, D.C. and Richmond, VA, prior to moving to Atlanta in 1954. Mrs. Foelsch was an active member of The Atlanta New Neighbors League Association, where she was Social chairman, and President. She was an avid golfer and long time member of The Mystery Valley Ladies Golf Association and served as Social Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer. Theresa was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for 53 years, and was active in The Ladies Guild, Creative Hands Society, and served as a church greeter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Frederick J. Foelsch. Survivors include her daughters, Diane F. Steele (husband, William J.) of Birmingham, AL, Gerri Sharp of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Cheryl Steele, Karen Natalie, Leslie Flemming and Pamela Steele; six great grandchildren, and brother-in-law, Joseph Foelsch (wife, Pat). A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring may send contributions to a charity of donor’s choice. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13th from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
