Theresa Walsh

Mrs. Theresa Walsh, age 88 of Atlanta , died Monday, September 12, 2011 . Mrs. Walsh was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Walsh; parents, Thomas H. and Violet A. Brandt; brother, Joe Brandt; and sisters, Norma Bleach, Jean Donald and Rita Graham-Donald. She is survived by her sons, James F. and wife Bobbie Walsh, Patrick M. Walsh and Danny J. and daughter-in-law Marilyn Walsh, grandchildren, Kelly Walsh, Justin Walsh and Stacy Walsh and brother Fred Graham and many nieces and nephews residing in Australia. A WWII war bride from Australia and a devoutly religious woman, Theresa spent her life devoted to her family, grandchildren and the friends she loved. Incredibly social, she loved music, dancing, singing, dining out, cooking, travel and family/friends gatherings. Her imprint on our lives will forever be a source of joy through loving memories of her honesty, integrity, intelligence, dedication, humility, style, sense of humor, laughter, wit and courage. Above all, Theresa (Tess) was our mother, grandmother and friend. Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 30th at 2:00 PM in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
