Thomas Alfred Branch, Iii

Mr. Thomas Alfred Branch III, age 87, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 in Boynton Beach, FL. He was born March 13, 1924 in Decatur, GA where he lived until 1999. After graduating from Decatur High School in 1941, he served as a PFC (Rifleman) in Patton's 3rd Army in 1944 during WWII. He was wounded in action and was awarded the Bronze Star. In 1949 Mr. Branch graduated from the University of Georgia Law School. He was an avid fisherman and UGA football fan throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Branch; son, Allen Branch; daughter, Leslie Raymer; and sister, Mary Powell Fowler. A memorial graveside service at Decatur Cemetery will be planned.
