CHATMAN, Thomas Bennett
Thomas Bennett Chatman of Tucker went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, January 5, 2014. Bennett formally owned and operated Georgia Vault Service in Tucker until his retirement in 2003 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tucker. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Christine Chatman; his daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Mark Baldwin; his grandson, Lonny Baldwin; his nephew and wife, Carlton and Cathy Chatman, as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews, friends and wonderful Church family. He graduated from Tucker High School in 1956 and was a proud fan of the Tucker High School Football Team, Go Tigers. The chapel service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Lung Association or the First Baptist Church of Tucker. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
