Thomas Brent Koch

Thomas Brent Koch, age 71 of Atlanta, Georgia, died December 4th of complications from cancer. He was born in Flushing, New York, and was a graduate of Lehigh University. Thomas and his late brother, Louis Haller, ran a food export company, Waltkoch Ltd., based in Decatur and Puerto Rico. He is survived by his wife Jo, son Michael, and daughter, Jennifer, all of Atlanta. Survivors also include a sister-in-law, JoAnn Koch of South Carolina, three nieces, Paula Franks of Gainesville, GA, Jan Maloof of St. Simons, GA, and Amie Close of Germany, as well as two nephews, Frederick Koch of Annandale, VA, and Walter Koch of Suwanee, GA. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 10th at 7 pm at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church.
