Thomas Charles Johnson

Thomas Charles Johnson passed away December 4, 2017 at his residence in Decatur, Georgia. Tom was born December 20, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas, to Leonard and Christel Johnson. He graduated from Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, Tennessee in 1986. Tom proudly served his country as a Marine. Shortly after, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He worked as a sales associate at Beverly Hall, before becoming an entrepreneur in the music industry. It was in that career he was able to indulge with great passion, his love for music.

Tom will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He is survived by his partner of 20 years, Charles Dodson, mother and stepfather Christel and Richard Jackson, siblings: Vanessa Newby (Tim), Parish Jackson (Becky), Dwain Johnson (Jan), and Stephanie Lupia (Bill); extended family: Herbert Dodson and Sharon Culbertson; nieces and nephews: Lauren Mason, Harrison Newby, Daphne Mieke (Matt), Lincoln Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Ella Johnson, Justin Johnson (Lacey), Jonathan Johnson, Deven Johnson and Madison McCann; and great nieces and nephew: Makynlee Johnson, Paizley Johnson and Dylan Mason.
