Thomas Carroll was born on July 12, 1940, in Bronxville, New York. He was a star soccer player at Bronxville High School. After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, he established himself in a sales career in the candy industry, and was inducted into The Candy Hall of Fame in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1999, in honor of his outstanding achievements. He head coached youth soccer for over two decades for TYSA in Tucker, Georgia, where he mentored and developed players who became champions not only on the field, but more importantly, in life. With a gift of boundless energy, he never sat down, loved being outdoors, relished spending time with his family, and especially going fishing. He is survived by his best friend, partner, soul mate, and loving wife of 54 years, Rosaleen, his three children, Susan, Ellen, and Tommy, and his granddaughter, Josephine. He was a loving, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August, 24 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Decatur, GA.
