Thomas Lilburn Eads, Sr.

Thomas L Eads Sr., 79 years of age, passed peacefully at his home in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia to Walter and Tommie Estelle Eads. Thomas worked for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company for over 40 years and retired from Kroger in 2005. He attended Atlanta Area Technical School to become a master transmission mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, gardening, and repairing computers. After retirement he spent his time reading his bible and watching his favorite preachers on television. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Anne Long Eads, his children Deborah Eads, Tommy Eads Jr., and his wife Ginger, Regina Eads Littlewood and her husband Scott, Joseph Eads, and his wife Clarke. His grandchildren Meagan Ally, Brittany Henderson, Brooke Velez, Ryan Hickman, Susie Eads, Chloe Eads, Emily Littlewood, C.J. Eads and his great grandchildren Hayden Coblentz, Eva Ally, and Braxton Henderson. His siblings Joan Cobb, Billy Eads, Jeanette Smith, and Sidney Eads. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 6 to 8 PM at A.S. Turner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 11 AM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner Funeral Home with visitations starting at 10 AM.
