Thomas Reardon

Thomas Charles Reardon, 80, of Decatur died Thursday, August 30, 2007.  Mr. Reardon, born April 8th, 1927 in Fremont, Ohio, was the son of the late Mrs. Irene Celeste Reardon and the late Mr. T. Ross Reardon, and sister of the late Elizabeth Ann Horn.  As a young man, Mr. Reardon was a Sea Scout and an Eagle Scout.  He was a Midshipman and a proud U. S. Army (Intelligence) veteran.  He graduated from the University of Detroit with a bachelor of Philosophy cum Laude.  He worked for Ford Motor Company (Tractor Operations) for 39 years.  He retired to Georgia to be close to his daughters.  He is survived by three children and their spouses, Maureen and Peter Risdon of Atlanta, Bridget and Tom Hollingsworth of Cumming, Tim and Cathy Reardon of Montrose, CO; and six grandchildren, Bridget Risdon,  

Scott Reid, Amanda Reid, Sean Reardon, Kelly Reardon and Erin Reardon.  A thank you to his recent friends at Sunrise Assisted Living of Decatur for all their caring support.  Service at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta to be announced.  A. S. Turner & Sons
