Tina Hastings

Tina Hastings, 60, of Decatur, GA, died Friday, November 11, 2005.  A native of East Greenville, PA, she attended Temple University and graduated from Cabrini College.  She moved to Atlanta in 1969 to serve with the Mennonite Central Committee.  After her service with the Mennonite Committee, she was a real estate agent in the Atlanta area for 25 years, and opened her own business as a mediator.  She is survived by her children, David Buechele and Lisa Jacobs; son-in-law, Chad Jacobs; daughter-in-law, Braniewine Ruff; grandchildren, Jeremiah Ruff and Adam Jacobs; beloved cats, Tonic and Katrina,; dear friends, Barbara Forest and Ellen Hastings; aunt Marjorie Gerstle; nephew, Joseph Savarese; siblings, Dee Dee Allen, Paul Savarese, Bob Savarese, Margaret; and a host of other family members and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2005, at the Universalist Unitarian Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA) (at 1911 Cliff Valley Way, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329) at 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UUCA or the Open Door Community, 910 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30306.
