Vernon Wyatt Kitchens

Vernon Wyatt “Bubba” Kitchens died Friday, July 24, 2008. Bubba worked for Callaway Oldsmobile which became Royal Oldsmobile for over 30 years before his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Ledford Kitchens; daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine Maria Kitchens & Benjamin Howard Jordan, Jr. or Statesboro, GA and Elizabeth Anne Kitchens & Stuart Waterman Thomas of Roswell, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne & Terri Kitchens, Phillip & Jackie Kitchens, Kenneth & Shirley Kitchens all of Lanett, AL; and two grandsons, Tucker Wyatt Thomas and Benjamin Howard “Trey” Jordan III. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Benjamin Jordan, Jr. & Stuart Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Rabun County at 5 PM. Those desiring may send contributions to the Kidney Cancer Association, 1988 Momentum Place, Chicago, IL 60689-5319 or online to www.kidneycancer.org.
