Violet Richardson

Mrs. Violet Elaine Richardson of Doraville, GA died on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the age of 83. Born on the island of St. Kitts in the West Indies, she also lived in St. Croix USVI for many years prior to relocation to Georgia where she has lived for the past fourteen years. Her beloved husband Rupert George Richardson precedes her in death. Violet was a devoted, loving, and caring mother to 13 children, Veronica Richardson, Deloris Ambrose, Silvena Etienne, Carmen Lyons, Andrew Richardson, Vera Emmanuel, Linda Richardson, Joan Stevenson, Clifford Richardson, Theresa Carter, Larry Richardson, Paul Richardson, and St. Clair Richardson. She is the proud grandmother of 32 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; special cousins, Doris Baird of Quebec, Canada, Alma Mason of Scarmento, CA; Pearl Walker of CA, Rosa Thode and Veronica Maria, of Willemspad, Curacao. Her absence will be heartily felt by those who knew her and loved her. She was a genuine woman with a loving spirit. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3773 Chamblee Tucker Rd., Atlanta, GA 30341. Flowers may be sent to A. S.
