Virgil L. Warren, Sr.

Mr. Virgil L. Warren, Sr. of Decatur died Wednesday, February 7, 2007. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of St John's Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Warren; sons, Virgil L. Warren, Jr. and wife Joyce, Richard L. Warren and wife Jane, Michael A. Warren and wife Meere, Tim Warren and wife Linda; daughters, Patricia Baxter, Cathy McWhorter; brothers, Jimmy Warren, Jack Warren and wife Arthie, Robert Warren; sisters, Lilly Mae Lovins, Bessie Lee Tolbert and husband Claude; brother-in-law, Frank Stone; sisters-in-law, Catherine Warren, Myrtle Warren; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 10th at 11 a.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church, Rev. Tommy Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons
