Virginia Brooks Sutton

Virginia Sredman Sutton departed this earth into heaven on January 5, 2013 at age 95. Born 1917, Rochester, NY, Dr. William and Una Stedman, she is predeceased by her husband Lt Col. Clyde T. Sutton Jr. , sister, Mary Elizabeth Kendall, survived by daughter Elizabeth Ann Sutton, of San Rafael, CA, sons Clyde Terry Sutton III, of Atlanta, David Sutton and wife Linda of Roanoke VA, grandson Matthew Sutton of San Diego, CA, and several nieces and nephews. She was a homemaker, accomplished seamstress, and city park volunteer. Earlier jobs included, tour guide for Clapp Baby Foods, secretary for Gannett Newspapers and Nurses aide in Rochester, NY. After a fall , that left her with a broken hip, she lived her final years at Wessley Woods at Bud Terrace until a stroke a few weeks ago that may have led to her passing. A special "Thank You" to the staff of Bud Terrace for the nice care she received during her stay.
