Virginia Henderson Keener

Mrs. Virginia Henderson Keener of Decatur died Wednesday, May 13, 2009. She was a member of the Clarkston International Bible Church and retired from the Internal Revenue Service. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl R. Keener. Mrs. Keener is survived by her son and daughter- in-law, Mitchell and Jeanette Keener of Newnan; son and daughter-in-law Philip and Rebecca Keener of Snellville; eight grandchildren, Patrick Keener, Sr., Carla Mayo, Michael and Deborah Triggs, Roger and Kristy Keener, all of Newnan, David Keener of Fairburn; Susan Keener, Brice and Leigh Keener, all of Alpharetta, Stuart and Candace Keener of Atlanta; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 3pm in Decatur City Cemetery with Rev. Phil Kitchin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday and from 1:30 to 2:30PM Friday, prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
