Virginia Holcombe Hardigree

Mrs. Virginia H. Hardigree, age 90, of Stone Mountain, died Thursday, June 26, 2008.  A native of Dekalb County, she was a long-time member of Glenhaven Baptist Church, where she ran the nursery for 30 years.   Mrs. Hardigree was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hardigree and her son, Henry Hardigree.  Surviving are her son, Don Hardigree and his wife Linda; daughter-in-law, Linda Hardigree; grandchildren, John and wife Michele Hardigree, Lisa, Heath, and Joel Hardigree; great grandsons, Matthew, & Jack Hardigree; sisters, Myrna O'Shields, Mary Estes, Sara Mulder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 29, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Pastor Ralph Easterwood officiating. Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 - 4 P.M. and 6 - 8 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
