Mrs. Virginia Mangold, age 79, died Friday, January 13, 2006. Mrs. Mangold was a long time resident of Decatur and retired after 20 years from DeKalb Medical Center as a medical technologist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Mangold. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Robert Wamsley, Jr. of Doraville, Laura and Jim Hester of Stone Mountain, Mary Sue and Wayne Buffington of Lawrenceville, Paula and Keith Fowler of Lilburn; sisters, Catherine Bolt of Gardendale, AL, Elizabeth Ruth Kynerd of Selma, AL; brothers, George Kynerd of Huntsville, AL, Lacy David Kynerd of Punta Gorda, FL; seven grandchildren, Robert Wamsley, III, Jessica Wamsley, Elliot Hester, Craig Buffington, Brian Buffington, Leslie Fowler and Stacy Fowler; 1 great grandson, Zachary Galluch; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 16th at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Dr. Bob Browning officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Crossroads Hospice Foundation, 1957 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 500, Tucker, GA 30084. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 12 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
