Virginia Mann McCoy of Decatur passed away peacefully on September 3, 2009. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Dr. Harold D. Zwald officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. Mrs. McCoy was a life long member of Druid Hills Baptist Church, the Philathea Sunday School class, the Opti-Mrs Club of Atlanta, and the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Ralph C. McCoy, Jr. Survivors include, Dr. Ralph C. McCoy, III and his wife Emily of Boone, N.C., Richard J. McCoy and his wife Barbara of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Carl McCoy, Ben McCoy, Meredith Monforton, Lauren Borowsky and Caroline McCoy; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Jo Rowell of Savannah, GA.
