Virginia Martin Curtis, age 87, died Saturday July 12, 2008. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold B. Curtis by only a few weeks. Originally from Buffalo, NY, she was a student at Michigan State University and a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School of NYC. Mrs. Curtis was residing at Morningside of Conyers at the time of her death and the family gratefully acknowledges the many kindnesses of the staff there. She is survived by her children Cliff Gunst, Helen and Richard Robbins, Kristin Gunst and Perry Jayasekera, and Henry and Lynda Gunst, by her seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and by her friend, Martha Bermudez and her family. Mrs. Curtis and her husband were avid travelers and devoted animal lovers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made in their memory to Pets are Worth Saving (PAWS), 5734 Windsor Dr., Columbus, GA 31909 (706) 565-0035. A graveside service will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA. A. S. Turner & Sons
