Virginia Nancy Wallace Rogers Wayne

Virginia Nancy Wallace Rogers Wayne, 88, of Smyrna, formerly of Decatur, Georgia, born December 15, 1921, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 26, 2010. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jim and Nancy McKinley, Bill and Libby Rogers, Lowell and Judy Walden, Jay and Susan Rogers, and Dr. Jim and Janet Rogers; her step-children, Johnny and Joanna Braswell, Robert Wayne; brother and his wife, David and Glenda Wallace; sister, Terry Ann Sendgraff; grandchildren, Michael McKinley, David McKinley, Lisa Wilson, Gini Dilley, Ashley Couey, Bill Rogers, Jr., Jonathan Rogers, Jason Braswell, and John Braswell; and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 28th. Rev. Alan Smith and Rev. Jamie Auton will officiate. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 27^th and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033.
