Mrs. Vivian Blanche Whitlow Paulette, June 1916-November 2011, resident of Decatur, GA. After a two year stay in Manor Care Nursing Home, Blanche passed away at age 95, peacefully. Blanche was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She was one of three sisters born to the late Crozier and Lydia Whitlow and was the wife of the late Edward Wiltse Paulette of Farmville, VA. Blanche is survived by son, Greg Paulette of Atlanta, GA and daughter, Patti Walshe of Tucker, GA. Blanche, better known as Nana, was a loving grandmother of five, Caitlin and Sam Paulette
and Michael, Paulette, and Christopher Walshe, and a "great" grandmother of 15. Blanche loved children and they loved her. She was in charge of the nursery at Emory Presbyterian Church for 38 years. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home at 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033 on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 12:00pm-2:00pm., followed by a recitation of the Rosary presided over by Msgr. Paul Fogerty. A private graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation. The family requests in lieu of flowers that all donations be sent to Crossroads Hospice at 1957 Lakeside Pkwy., Tucker, GA 30084 or Emory Presbyterian Church 1886 North Decatur Road NE Atlanta GA 30347 in memory of Blanche Paulette.
