Vivian Boggs Crowley

May 2, 1930 — July 11, 2009

Mrs. Vivian Boggs Crowley, 79, of Griffin, formerly of Atlanta died Saturday, July 11, 2009. A native of East Point, Mrs. Crowley was a 1952 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Mrs. Crowley was a previous co-owner of Bridal Classics in Griffin. Her kindness, friendship, gentle nature and positive attitude will be missed by all. Mrs. Crowley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tunis Crowley; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Geoff Voight of Griffin; sons and daughters-in-law, Marc and Pam Crowley of Lilburn, Alan and Cathy Crowley of Norcross; grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Mitchell, Marshall, Michael, Casey and Matthew; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Hubert Flanagan officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation, 550 Pharr Rd., Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30305-3432. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons.
