Wallace Winfred Burrell, Sr., 96, of Jonesboro, formerly of Decatur, died Thursday, November 21, 2013. Born in Rayburn, Co., Mr. Burrell was married to Blondine Burrell for 61 years. He was a WWII veteran serving with the Army Air Corps, a Morgage Broker and a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Wallace and Jamie Burrell; sister, Betty Brannon and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 25, 2013 at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta with Dr. Scott Downing officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at A.S. Turner Funeral Home in Decatur.
