Walter Herman Hall

Walter Herman Hall, age 76, of Clarkston, GA, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 10, 2020.

He was born in Southside, AL, on January 14, 1944 to William Herman and Hazel Rhodes Hall.
Walter was a graduate of Southside High School, an Eagle Scout, and a member of Cedar Bend Masonic Lodge. He drove a big rig truck for 46 years before retiring. Walter loved gardening and guitar picking.

Walter was predeceased by his parents, his beloved first wife of 42-years, Shirley Hall, loving daughter, Susan McHann, infant son, Jason, and brother, Jerry Hall.

He is survived by his loving second wife of 10-years, Sherry W. Hall; daughters, Carmen Tyroff and her husband, Jim Tyroff, Julie Bobo and her husband, John Bobo; grandchildren, Jonathan McHann and his wife Julie McHann, Justin McHann and his wife Allison McHann, Mallory Tyroff, Shelby Bobo, Olivia Bobo, Rachel Bobo and Travis Bobo; great grandchildren, Karlie McHann, Natalie McHann, MaKynna Hargrove, Kenzlie McHann and Lori McHann; brothers Keith Hall of Gadsen, AL and William Hall of Union City, TN, and cousin Judy Phillips of Southside, AL.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM with his family receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA
