Walter Jackson McCloud II (Buddy), 79, of Decatur, GA, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, Surrounded by his family. Buddy is Survived by his wife; Jackie of 56 years, daughter, Kelly (Neal) Covington, son, Mike McCloud, grandsons, Reed Covington and Lance Corporal Brody McCloud, “daughter” Terri McCloud and sister, Gloria Howington, along with many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Buddy was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a loyal and committed friend to many. Buddy spent his career as a Civil Engineer specializing in both Residential and Commercial Development. He graduated from Georgia Tech and loved his Yellow Jackets. Buddy also loved watching sports, hanging out with his friends at Blue Ribbon Grill and was known by his family and friends as a great cook. A special thank you to the staff at The Madeline and Longleaf Hospice for their loving care and support. Funeral Services will be held at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 1722 Oak Grove Road, Decatur, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
