Wayne Craig Penniman

Wayne C. Penniman, 71, of Conyers passed away on Tuesday, June 19,2018. He retired from DeKalb Mental Health, having worked as a Social Worker for many years. Wayne was also an avid tennis enthusiast, working as a coach and director of several tennis facilities. He was known to many as “Santa Wayne”. His great love and compassion for everyone will always be remembered.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Brooks Penniman, his dear sister, Margo (David) P. Brown, nieces, Jennifer and Adrienne, and a host of extended family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to WELLS OF HOPE INTERNATIONAL, INC. to build a Memorial Well in loving memory of Wayne Penniman.
