William B. Campbell, Jr.

Mr. William B. Campbell, Jr. of Cumming, formerly of Stone Mountain, died July 26, 2004. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army Signal Corps in Canada. Mr. Campbell graduated with a degree in business from Georgia State College and retired from Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as an appraiser. He loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie McDaniel Campbell and his daughter, Karen Ann Campbell. He is survived by his son, Ronald (Ron) Campbell of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Arees Akoubian of Cumming; three grandchildren, Jeff Little, Kevin Campbell, Maggie Campbell; and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 28th at 11 a.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Rev. Ferrell Drummond officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
