William Bobby Anderson

Mr. William Bobby Anderson, born December 29, 1929 in Decatur, GA went to be with his Lord Wednesday, November 14, 2007. He is survived by his wife Norma E. (Betty) Anderson, who he was married to for 56 years; his daughter, Becky Conner and husband Chuck; and son, Randy Anderson and wife Janice; as well as grandchildren, Cal Anderson, Courtney Anderson, and Eric Yarbrough and wife Sarah; two brothers, Joe Frank Anderson and wife Barbara, Marshall Anderson and wife Joyce.  William resided most of his life in Clarkston, GA and was a member of Clarkston Baptist Church, where he was a deacon for many years. He retired from Southern Bell after 35 years and was very active with the Pioneers.  Mr. Anderson enjoyed living the past 10 years in Hartwell, GA where he spent 5 years building his wife her dream home on the lake.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 17th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment Melwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday and 10:00 to 12:00 Noon Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
